Louise Corello qualified as an acupuncturist in 1992 after a 3-year program at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, England. Four years later, while running a busy practice from home and performing treatments at the local hospital in Hampshire, Louise discovered the benefits of Zero Balancing and became a Certified Zero Balancer in 2000.

Wanting more space and a more grounded environment, Louise and her family moved to Nova Scotia in 2006 and Louise opened her Traditional Acupuncture & Zero Balancing clinic in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia. In 2008, Louise began writing for Nubodies OptimYz magazine. In 2011, she moved her clinic to its present location at 5832 St.Margaret's Bay Road in Head of St. Margaret's Bay, NS.

Throughout her professional career, Louise has completed many post-graduate studies, some of which include:

  • acupuncture in pregnancy
  • acupuncture during cancer treatment
  • acupuncture for teenagers
  • treatment for musculo-skeletal problems, stress-related conditions and post traumatic stress syndrome

While Louise treats many conditions using acupuncture and Zero Balancing her treatments are aimed at healing the whole person.

"I treat each person individually and look at all symptoms, lifestyle habits, sleeping patterns and emotional well being before deciding on a precise treatment plan. Sometimes people are fully recovered after one or two treatments and sometimes it takes 8-10 treatments before all symptoms clear up. Usually after a couple of sessions you feel better in yourself even if your main complaint has not completely disappeared."
